D’Arcy has been one of my idols when it comes to film photography, and honestly just photography in general! She has such a natural ability to capture honest photos which is something I’ve always strived for. We also had the opportunity to work with the most incredible vendors- such as Sarah Winward, The Gatherist, and Leanne Marshall. It was like walking into a living dream. I can’t even tell you how long I’ve wanted to work with Sarah- she is a floral genius and is a master at what she does. Everything was just so inspiring , I truly learned SO much at this workshop and can’t wait to apply all that I learned into my upcoming shoots.

Recognize this cute couple? It just so happens that I was the lucky one to shoot their engagements, bridals and wedding a few years back! Now they are a sweet family of 4 (Baby Oskar and of course their Frenchie, Mozzy) and I just couldn’t wait to document more of their love story.

I wanted to do somewhat of a newborn/inspirational shoot since I never get to showcase what my actual “style” is for newborn photography. I was so happy that Caitlyn was willing to be my model and bring all three of her boys along for the ride!

Santa (aka my husband) was super good to me this year, and brought me my very first medium format film camera! I’d been dying to play around with it, and luckily these two were sweet enough to let me try it out on them.

I got the film scans back from Alpine Film Lab yesterday- and I was BLOWN away by how gorgeous they turned out!

2016 is already turning out to be a beautiful year.
